This teapot was created by Yamada Yutaro of Tokoname, who is a rising star among Japanese kyusu (teapot) makers. The research, enthusiasm, and consideration he puts into each of his works is astounding.

Kyusu making is a very delicate and exacting process with each step requiring the utmost precision. The body, lid, tea strainer, handle, and spout are all created separately and subsequently put together meticulously.
